Tare Weights of Common Butane Canisters
Tare means empty. Subtract this number from what your canister now weighs to determine roughly how much gas remains in it. Weights given below were measured with plastic lid in place. Lids weigh approximately 2 grams.
Always bring extra fuel, especially in the winter. Don't blame me if you run out of gas.
